Verification & Trust

Specific trust signals, clearly explained

Trust checks provide limited, useful context about a listing or representative. Each check is independent and must be understood within its own scope.

Independent trust checks

Official identity verification

Not currently available. A future Identity Verified badge will require an approved official account-level verification service.

Authority to advertise checked

Evidence indicating authority to advertise was reviewed. It does not guarantee ownership or legal title.

Property location checked

Submitted location evidence was checked. This does not establish ownership or legal rights over the property.

Property documents reviewed

Submitted documents were reviewed under platform procedures. This is not Lands Commission title certification or a legal title search.

Physical inspection completed

A platform-authorised inspection or check was recorded. It does not guarantee structural condition or future availability.

Publication does not equal verification. A published listing may have no completed trust checks. No trust badge guarantees a property, representative, payment, transaction, legal title, or transaction outcome.

How supporting documents are handled

Documents submitted through the private verification-evidence workflow may be securely reviewed by authorised platform staff for the specific check requested.

Evidence is separate from public listing media and is not displayed on the public marketplace. Submit only relevant documents through the authorised workflow, and never send passwords or authentication secrets. A document review remains a limited platform signal—not a legal opinion, title search, or guarantee.

Location privacy

Representatives choose how location details are presented publicly.

Exact Public

The listing may show precise submitted location details and map coordinates publicly.

Approximate

The public listing shows area-level context while precise coordinates, street details, and GhanaPostGPS Digital Address remain private.

Private

The public listing does not expose precise location details. Exact information may be shared separately by the representative when appropriate.

Practical safety guidance

  • Inspect a property before making a major commitment.
  • Independently review important legal and property documents with qualified professionals.
  • Confirm payment instructions through a trusted channel before transferring money.
  • Do not transfer money solely because a listing displays a platform trust badge.
  • Use care when sharing personal or financial information.
  • Report suspicious listings, payment requests, or conduct to the platform.

Use the report control on a public property listing when available. For other concerns, view the current support channel.
