1. Information we handle
- Account details such as name, email address, authentication records, roles, and preferences.
- Listing, representative, property, price, media, location, enquiry, viewing, saved-property, and notification information.
- Private verification evidence and the status/history of scoped checks.
- Technical information needed for security, sessions, service operation, and diagnostics.
2. Where information comes from
Information may come directly from users, from their use of the platform, from authorised representatives, or from providers used to deliver requested functions such as mapping, media storage, authentication, and hosting.
3. Why we use information
- Provide accounts and requested marketplace functions.
- Publish listings according to selected visibility settings.
- Route enquiries and viewing requests to the appropriate participants.
- Moderate content, investigate reports, prevent misuse, and secure the service.
- Conduct and record separately scoped verification reviews.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Location information
Property coordinates and GhanaPostGPS Digital Addresses can identify a precise place. Public disclosure depends on the listing's selected location visibility. Approximate and private settings are designed to withhold exact coordinates and the Digital Address from public listing responses. See the Location Privacy Policy.
5. Verification evidence
Verification evidence is private and separate from public listing media. It is available only through authorised access paths. Uploading evidence does not automatically verify a person or property. Users should provide only what is needed for the requested check.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, account and marketplace operation, safety and audit needs, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. Detailed operational retention periods remain subject to legal/compliance approval and are not presented here as statutory deadlines.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other assistance concerning personal information. Some records may need to be retained or access may be limited where lawful reasons apply. Contact details for written privacy requests will be added before launch.
9. Security
We use organisational and technical controls intended to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords or sensitive verification documents through ordinary contact channels.
10. Changes to this Policy
We will update the version and dates when this Policy changes and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
